Don't miss the Detroit Windsor International Film Festival TechFair on June 26 and 27 at the College for Creative Studies

With activities spread all around Detroit and Windsor the Detroit Windsor International Film Festival (DWIFF) June 25 - 28 offers great events for the whole family - watch movies under the stars at the free drive-ins, walk the red carpet for premieres, laugh with your kids at the free Children's Film Festival and see how the industry works and how you can work for it at TechFair at College for Creative Studies (CCS).

As the film industry grows throughout the state the free TechFair offers attendees information on new technology, educational opportunities and resources related to the film and entertainment production industry. The TechFair is free to the public, to encourage networking, collaboration and the exploration of new ideas and opportunities. Come down and meet people from all aspects of the creative community- especially with those involved in the film and media production industry.

The 2009 DWIFF TechFair offers a powerful lineup of free workshops, discussion panels and guests, creating a great learning and networking opportunity - to view a schedule visit DWIFF CCS TechFair Schedule.

Representatives from CCS Admissions and Continuing Education staff will also be on-hand to discuss educational opportunities in the entertainment industry for college-bound and professional students.

The TechFair will be held Friday, June 26 and Saturday, June 27 from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. in the Walter B Ford II building on the CCS campus.
