Detroit Museum Passes

Did you know that it is possible to check out a Museum Pass from your local library?

Detail:

In the first year, over 100,000 people visited museums through this program. Start your adventure today! Visit your public library to check out a pass for two or four free admissions, depending on location, to one of these exciting museums. MAP passes may be restricted, per individual library policy, only to borrowers who are registered at the library that serves the community in which they reside. If the library you intend to use is not in your municipality, call to confirm availability and circulation policies before visiting the library.

It was brought to my attention that the Proud Lake Recreation Area in Wixom will be celebrating its 90th anniversary on Saturday, July 18th, 2009 and is looking to involve community Artists!

The objective: to attract visitors of all ages to join in celebrating Michigan's great outdoors!

Proud Lake will be hosting many activities this day, including geocaching, bounce houses, fishing and a music festival.

Proud Lake is extending an invitation to Michigan vendors to be part of this event FREE OF CHARGE and are welcome to sell goods, if applicable. Those who respond early will be included with free publicity too.
